Uno de Mayo Auction!
Jack’s BBQ is a proud supporter of the Yucatan Education Project - a non-profit organization supporting the vocational education of Isla Mujeres and Yucatan youth so that they can have meaningful, financially viable careers.
On May 1st, 2019 (or as we call it here 'Uno de Mayo'), Jack's BBQ will be holding a dinner auction event at our SoDo location to raise money to support this worthy cause. Our MC for the evening will be Enrique Cerna - a veteran journalist who has worked in Seattle media for more than four decades.
Cerna worked for 23 years at KCTS 9 and retired in February, 2018 from his role as senior correspondent. He anchored current affairs programs, moderated statewide political debates, interviewed major newsmakers, produced and reported stories throughout Washington State and for national PBS programs
In June, 2013, he was inducted into the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Northwest Chapter’s Silver Circle for his work as a television professional.
In addition, there will be a live auction which will include fabulous items such as:
- A vacation package to Isla Mujeres, Mexico
- BBQ Class and Training for 8 at Jack's BBQ
- A copious amount of beer from Georgetown Brewery
Tickets are $100 each and include both dinner and drinks and can be ordered using the link below. Join us for a great evening of food, fun and laughter starting at 6 p.m. while supporting this great cause!
Prime Rib Wednesday’s
Jack’s BBQ is now hosting regular Prime Rib Dinners every other Wednesday evening. Jack will be cooking up whole prime ribs from Prime grade beef cooked low and slow in the massive smokers out back.
A 14-16 ounce boneless cut of Prime Rib is served with delicious sides. The flavor of this meat is tremendous and unlike any prime rib you’ve ever had. Once you’ve had it, you’ll want to make it a monthly routine!
Please order tickets in advance to attend these limited seating events. Dinner will be served between 6 pm and 7 pm and is now available at both our SoDo and SLU locations!
